 ARISE Renewable Energy Group (REGroup)
 

In view of the increased energy cost that everyone is facing, and since energy cost is expected to increase steadily, ARISE has taken the decision to form an active work group dedicated to the following objectives:

  • Increase awareness of the benefits of renewable energy utilization.

  • Offer seminars on renewable energy topics and energy efficiency methods.
  • Prepare and offer courses on various renewable energy topics.
  • Promote inclusion of renewable energy courses at university engineering faculties.
  • Work with universities to create programs leading to renewable energy engineering degrees.
  • Assess and document available renewable energy resources in various Arab countries.
  • Lobby with official agencies to encourage renewable energy applications.
  • Assist official agencies in establishing standards and regulations governing implementation of renewable     energy projects.
  • Assist official agencies to establishing incentives for renewable energy utilizations.
  • Work with private financial institutions to make funds available for renewable energy projects.


    Specific activities and projects will be planned and implemented as the REGroup is joined by individuals and/or organizations knowledgeable and interested in being part of this effort.

    Those Interested in joining the ARISE REGroup are requested to join by completing the REGroup application form.
