During a recent visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in early November 2005, Dr. Omar Mardam-Bey, Founder & President of ARISE, made a presentation at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Electrical Engineering Club and the IEEE Student branch. The purpose of the presentation was to inform present members about developments at ARISE and to recruit new members. As a result of the presentation, over 25 faculty and student became members of ARISE. More such presentations will be given at various universities in Arab countries to promote ARISE and its activities.
