OPEN ACCESS POLICY

Ariser provides open access to all of its content as making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Such access is associated with increased readership and increased citation of an author's work

PUBLICATION FREQUENCY

There will be four issues of Ariser per year, each being in a continuous publication cycle. Articles will be published in the current issue following completion of the review/editing process. In the future, the number of issues could be increased depending on the volume of articles received for publication.

ABOUT THE JOURNAL

Ariser is an e-journal that provides free and open access to all of its content. It aims to strengthen links between research and practice in academia and industry in Arab and other world countries. The emphasis is on providing a space for researchers, both theoreticians and practitioners, to jointly explore ideas using a free mix of research methods and applications. Ariser brings together academic research, applied industrial and development research, and case studies in order to assist in the transfer of best practices, the development of policy and the creation of theory leading to implementation. Thus, Ariser is of interest to a wide-ranging audience of researchers and other professionals involved in education and industrial development in communities in Arab countries and throughout the world.

MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION GUIDLINES

Aim: Ariser aims to provide a medium for rapid publication. In order to realize this aim, authors wishing to submit papers to the journal are highly encouraged to comply with the following guidelines.

Receipt of articles: All manuscripts must be in English or Arabic and sent by email to the Editor in Chief.

Format: Manuscripts should be preferably Latex or word processed with single spacing and single column.

Original Nature: The author(s) are encouraged to provide articles that have not been published, or submitted for publication, elsewhere. Authors are encouraged to provide articles that have been written specifically for publication in Ariser.

Title: Title, name, affiliation, and full address of the author(s), including the email address, should be stated on the title page.

Abstracts: A concise 100- to 200-word abstract is recommended. It should indicate both the objectives and the results of the research, and be a complete statement in itself.

Keywords: Four (4) keywords should be supplied for use in indexing.

Length: There is no formal limit to the length of a paper.

SI Units: It is recommended to use SI units throughout the manuscript. All symbols must be clearly identified on the manuscript to avoid confusion in typesetting. A nomenclature may be included.

References: References should be referenced in the text in parentheses and listed at the end of the manuscript in the order in which they are referenced within the text. The format for referencing articles in journals, books, articles in books, and proceedings are:

Author Name (Year), Title, Journal name or Book name, Publisher, Page numbers, Date

Figures: Figures must be photographically reproducible. Line drawings, including lettering, must be clear, sharp, and suitable for reduction. It is highly recommended to use the PCX file format. Half-tone photographs should be of high contrast and marked with the legend the author wishes to appear in the final form. Photographs, diagrams, and graphs should be referred to as "Fig." in the text (abbreviated to "Fig." only in the caption).

Formulae: Formulae should be typewritten. It is extremely important that all mathematical symbols and letters used are identified and listed and that the required type of appearance of such symbols is clearly indicated. Any symbols that might be confused with similar symbols must be identified in the margin. Equations should be numbered consecutively and referred to in the text as "Eq.".
